The Magnanimous Journey Of Our Mammoth…! [PART-9]

Then from there we headed for Devprayag for the registry of our plot which we bought in Chamba but this journey was super long and tiring as the more altitude we crossed another mountain was waiting for us to climb so on and so forth we went one after the other waiting hither and thither for the natural beauty to take over or to refill our bottles with mineral or devour a plate of ‘Rajma Chawal’, kidney beans with rice or ‘Kadi Chawal’ or ‘allo paratha’ as lunch the road was unmistakingly breath taking with all the pine trees rowed in one line over other as if the guards of honour standing in a row clutching on to the soul tightly, then to pick up the pine cones we ran here and there up and down to pick up the cones then ate few seeds embedded in between and also we stooped at every nook and corner for our another fellow member to catch up with us in his bike as he rushed by his bike we chatted with the villagers eating and giggling with them the famous ‘Bal Mithai’ took over as I lovingly call it homeopathy Mithai…

All the while we just enjoyed climbing the heart of every mountain then moving towards another at last we reached Devprayag it was such a mind boggling experience to catch a glimpse if the two rivers amalgamating into each other, the shade, the direction of their coming was all so demarcating… we stopped by the road, by then our motorbike traveler came by astonishing us by the news that he has drooped the mobile while clicking or driving don’t know what but alas thus we lost all the memorable moments by bike other than a few which we clicked we parked our ‘mammo’ safe as the hurtling vehicles were rushing by at full throttle and rushed towards the river down below ignoring the advice given by many as the flow is really powerful and we were really cautious as it was going to be dark within just no time…
