The Magnanimous Journey Of Our Mammoth…! [PART-11]

As it is I know how it looks from Dehradun but this was something else in comparison to the altitude of Mussoorie, then suddenly we observed an orange stairs moving up in one of the mountains which was forest fire although it looked awesome but devastating we informed the localities along with fire extinguishers, for them it was a day to day chore in summers due to friction amongst the pine thorns and cones which are very richly covered with an oily coating and resin which fires up the ignition or may be a lit cigar was left by any villager but anyways after all this we nestled in our nests after coming back.

The very next day with all the documents headed towards the registry office, after a bit of work done with millions of xerox copies suddenly the electricity went off never to come back till 5 in the evening as for prior rain maintenance none of the requests worked as they had dislodged all the wires then the office hours got over helplessly we came back again unwinded our stuff and chill, relaxing over a cup of tea discussing the mishap that occurred due to such a small unwelcoming step of maintenance, no other system no other portal sometimes I really feel ‘Is India getting really digital or what?’ or digitalizing only manifest itself in Facebook and Whatsapp…

But anyways we had to wait in the evening we played cricket with few local boys but on their terrace and viola what calculated shots they were playing we chuckled as if we were playing in Dharamshala, but the local people were like in medieval period but yes they have TV, mobile close to their hearts, chewing tobacco and all other stuff they can afford to make life easy going but literally I felt they also have become quite lazy, leaving back the villages hunting for easy money in cities but alas turn out to be a daily wager labour in some building in nearby cities thus naming these places ‘ghost villages’…
